A major auction, packed with quality, from multiple important private collections.
Artists included: Three oils by Roderic O'Conor, three by Jack Yeats, Walter Osborne, also William Leech (2), Louis le Brocquy, Colin Middleton (2), Daniel O'Neill (3), Patrick Collins, Pat Scott. Contemporary Irish artists include Donald Teskey (4), John Doherty, John Shinnors, Martin Gale.
A feature of the auction is the strong selection of works by female Irish artists. Following on from the excellent 2023 exhibition at the National Gallery, 'It Took a Century: Women Artists and the RHA, we offer important examples by Norah McGuinness (4), Mary Swanzy (2), Camille Souter, Grace Henry, Rose Barton, Letitia Hamilton, Nano Reid and Anne Madden.
