Seamus Heaney particularly admired these ovoids, describing one of them as follows; "… I stood opposite one of her abstract bronzes, a little. glossy ovoid …, different associations flitted through my mid. I thought of the burnished breast and gazing presence of Athene's owl, the totem bird of the ancient Greek wisdom goddess; at the same time I could see the contour of a holy water font, a font in bud, as it were, but none of these subjective readings could encompass the objective integrity and otherness of the thing itself.[1] The work was shown under the title Trilobite at the Wexford festival in 2018.
