Chateau Valrose, "Cuvee Alienor " St Estephe was one of the star wines of this region in 2005 and it shows. It has a dark red colour and the nose suggests tobacco and plum. It needs decanting for at least an hour in advance. It is drinking very well now and should be enjoyed within the next 12 months.
