Leo Higgins was a well known Dublin sculptor. His work is in numerous private collections including Bank of Ireland and the Office of Public Works. Two of his major public sculptures is "Scales of Justice "at the Criminal Courts, Parkgate Street, Dublin and "Home" which stands in Buckingham Street, Dublin.
Leo was one of the founder members of the Sculptors Society of Ireland. In the mid eighties he set up CAST, the art Foundry he ran from that time until his passing in 2022.
This piece of Leo's titled " Bird at Glendalough " is one of a series of bronzes influenced by Leo's love of wild life, especially birds, also the life of St. Kevin a hermit priest who established a monastery in Glendalough in the 6th century .

In that case the system bids on your behalf, only up to the maximum if required. All bids are relayed to you be email, along with notification if you have been outbid.

In the event of a tied bid, the preference will be given to the bid submitted first. The second bidder will receive immediate notification of being outbid.
