Belfast born Conor is one of the best loved Northern painters, having captured people’s hearts by his depictions of everyday life in his unique use of wax crayon. He started exhibiting in the RHA in 1918 and up to 1967 he was to exhibit a total of 200 works. In 1944 and 1948 he exhibited with Victor Waddington in Dublin.
